Alumni Chapters coming soon to a city near you

That's right, Unis, you don't have to wait until Alumni Weekend or even travel over great distances to reconnect with old classmates while making new connections, just check the Alumni Connections Web page. In an effort to keep all of us connected far and wide, your Alumni Board is working to bring Alumni Chapters to an area near you. Whether you live and work in the chapter area or are just passing through, we're hoping socials and activities will be enjoyed by all! However, to make this happen, we need your help.

Alumni in the Triangle and Atlanta are already among the first to be introduced to chapters. Stay tuned for chapters coming to Eastern North Carolina (Greenville, N.C., area), Charlotte, N.C., Charlottesville, VA., the D.C. Metro area, the San Francisco Bay Area, Boston, MA., and New York, N.Y. If you're in one of these areas and would like to help with organizing socials and activities, please contact Therese Taxis at taxis@ncssm.edu. If you're area has not yet been mentioned, and you would like to help get a chapter started, please contact Therese as well. We want to eventually get all of our alums connected. We're part of an elite and wonderful family.

Kudos to alumna Jenny Idichandy '88, for organizing the Atlanta area kickoff on Satuday, March 20, 2010 at STATS in Atlanta! Unis across the years gathered together for food, drinks, and most importantly, fun catching up. If you're living in the Atlanta area and are on Facebook, check out the Facebook group for Atlanta.
